Something for everyone
With a wide range of classes and disciplines, we have something for everyone at The Freestyle Academy of Martial Arts. Our beginner sessions from five years and up is not only fun but helps with confidence, balance, listening, motor skills, teamwork and hand to eye co-ordination but the main focus is on fun!
These classes are perfect for youngsters, helping to encourage confidence, respect and discipline.
Our Junior classes teach basic and advanced karate and kickboxing skills and provide an introduction to Traditional Japanese Weapons. The sessions also focus on age relevant life skills.
Gradings
There are regular gradings and Student of the Month competitions, which are announced as and when they are scheduled. Students are regularly assessed before they are put forward for promotion, which is based on a coloured belt and certificate award.
Fees
New members and Juniors pay £4.00 per session, taking place on Tuesday evenings from 6.15pm- 7.15pm at the Arena Leisure Centre, Grand Avenue, Camberley GU15 3QH and on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm-8.30pm at AIEK Karate, St. Christopher’s Community Centre, 50 Montgomery Road, Farnborough GU14 0BG
There are separate fees for Gradings. Other sessions can be arranged by special appointment. All fees go to Children’s Charities.
